Preparing your cup of cacao is easy, below you will find our recipe for a traditional sacred cacao drink. A perfect basis to start from as you explore your relationship with the Spirit of Cacao.
INGREDIENTS (1 person)
40 gram of Ceremonial Cacao
150 ml of water (you can always add more water)
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of date syrup (or other sweetener like agave)

160 gram of Ceremonial Cacao
600 ml of water (you can always add more water)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper or chili powder
1 teaspoon of date syrup (or other sweetener like agave)

Boil the water in a pot and take it from the heat to cool down to 70-90 degrees Celsius
Cut the cacao paste into small pieces and add it to the hot water
Stir it constantly until it is smooth and creamy without any pieces or chunks of cacao
Add the spices and sweetener and stir it again

Feel free to add more sweetener, cinnamon or pepper based on your own taste.
